LOCATION
The 14th International Detonation Symposium will be held at the
Coeur d'Alene Resort, Idaho, from Sunday April 11th through Friday April 16th, 2010. It will be devoted to the physics, chemistry, and detonation of explosives.
Coeur d'Alene Resort is located in the town of Coeur d'Alene in northern Idaho, on the north shore of Lake Coeur d'Alene, flanked by the foothills of the Bitterroot Mountains. It is 30 miles east of Spokane along Interstate 90, providing easy access by air.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
The resort has many local attractions, including the Lake and a spectacular top-ranked golf course with a unique floating green.
Lake cruises, boat rentals, hiking/biking, and mining tours are just a few of the other activities available.
The town boasts a number of excellent restaurants in addition to those at the resort, and a brewpub just a short walk from the hotel.
