Registration Process

Registration and Payment Process

Below you will find guidance for different registration scenarios. If the information on this page does not apply to your registration, please check the Payment Process Guide page and the Registration Policies page in the Registration site.

Individual Registration

Registering just yourself?

  • Go to the Registration Site and click on the "Register" button to begin.
  • Enter your name and email address, and select your registration type (General Attendee, Session Chair, Student, Exhibitor); then click "Next".
  • Continue through the registration process, providing additional contact information, responding to some registration questions, and selecting the activities in which you wish to participate. If you want to pre-purchase some extra t-shirts for family or friends (you receive one complimentary shirt), you can do this as well.
  • If you are bringing family members with you, see below.
  • Review all of your selections on the Registration Summary page when you are done. Then click "Finished Adding People".
  • Then, select your payment method, provide any required information, and click "Finish."
  • On the Registration Confirmation page, you have the option to email the page to someone, print the page, modify your registration, or unregister.

Administrator Registration

Are you paying the registration fee on behalf of an attendee but are not attending yourself (Administrator Registration)?

  • Once on the Registration site, click the "Register" button.
  • Enter the attendee's name, email address, and select their registration type.
  • Then, check the box to indicate that you are paying the fee on the attendee's behalf.
  • Follow the prompts as you continue through the process. You will have the option to add an attendee prior to completing the payment.
  • Repeat for each attendee to pay for all in one transaction.
  • Each attendee and the administrator will receive a confirmation email.

Group Registration

Are you paying for your own registration as well as for one or more additional attendee (Group Registration)? Do you need for each attendee's payment to be a separate transaction?

  • Once on the Registration site, click the "Register" button.
  • Enter yourself as the first attendee (Group Leader); enter name, email address, and select their registration type; do NOT check the box indicating that you are paying on behalf of the attendee.
  • Process and pay for your registration.
  • Once on the Confirmation Page, click on the Pay Another Registration button at the bottom of the page and repeat for each attendee.
  • Each attendee, including the Group leader, will receive a confirmation email. The Group leader will NOT receive copies of the group members' confirmation emails.

If you are paying the registration fee for yourself and other attendees, and you want to pay for all of the group's registration fees in one transaction, follow the steps for Group Registration, with the following changes:

  • When you get to the Registration Summary page, click on the "Add Attendee to Group" button.
  • Provide all of the information for the 2nd attendee's registration.
  • When you return to the Registration Summary page, if you are done adding attendees to your group, click "Finished Adding People" to complete and pay for the Group registration.

Adult and/or Child Companion Registration

The Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay is a great spot for you to bring family. If you will be registering any Companions for any of the activities for which they're eligible, here's what to do:

  • Register yourself (see top of the page).
  • When you have completed your selection of activities and optional items, you will arrive at the Companion Registration page. Click the "Add Companion" button.
  • Select the Companion's Registration Type and enter your Companion's name; then click "Next."
  • Select the Companion's activities. Applicable fees are indicated. Click "Next" and depending on your selections on the previous page, you may need to answer one or two questions on behalf of your Companion.
  • Add another Companion or click "Next" to continue to the Registration Summary page.
  • Review, complete, and pay for your total registration (yours and your Companion's).
